About Joe

Joe is the Marketing Manager at the University of Reading’s Museums and Collections. Since 2019 (aside from a hiatus in 2023-2024) he has led social media at The Museum of English Rural Life and hosts/produces the Absolute Units podcast. Coverage of Joe’s writing, work, and talks include: The Guardian, Polygon, Museums Journal, and NPR. In Joe’s spare time he does hacky computer projcets (like making this website), searches out vegan restaurants, and tries to live up to the fact that Simon Armitage once described him as a poet to look out for.
